Landon Donovan scored his first goal for Everton in Everton’s 2-0 victory over Sunderland.  Donovan’s goal was well taken and hopefully this is the first of many.  Tim Howard was spectacular in goal and should get the credit he deserves for keeping the shutout.

Everton faces Wigan this Saturday before they face a very difficult February schedule.  They’ll have back to back games against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham.  This is his time to shine, a couple  goals in these matches and Donovan might not come back to MLS.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
