ENGLAND SQUAD ANNOUNCED
Fabio Capello finally announced the 23 players he will take to South Africa. Not too many surprises on the list. Both Joe Cole and Gareth Barry managed to fight off injury to make the squad.
Theo Walcott, Darren Bent, Adam Johnson, Scott Parker, Michael Dawson, Leighton Baines and Tom Huddlestone will miss out on the World Cup.

Defenders: Jamie Carragher (Liverpool), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Ledley King (Tottenham), John Terry (Chelsea), Matthew Upson (West Ham), Stephen Warnock (Aston Villa).
